The parish council is looking forward to Sleights Show on the 16th August and having its usual stand giving interesting and local information.  There will  be a display from Sleights Primary School showing the winners of the Art Competition sponsored by Eskdaleside cum Ugglebarnby Parish Council, which is judged by the well known local artist Robert Brindley.  Cllr Christine Stephenson has taken over the organisation of the Sleights Show stand from Cllr Judy Powditch, who over the years has done a marvellous job in undertaking this task.
