Firstly the Council want to give a big thank you to Cllr Dave Tate (temporary Proper Officer), Cllr Andy Harrison (temporary Finance co-ordinator) and Cllr John Parkin for stepping in and helping out, after our long-serving previous clerk Victoria Pitts went off to pastures new. All three councillors kept the show on the road, and helped with the handover to the new clerk.

The appointed Clerk (Proper Officer and Responsible Financial Officer) is Anne-Marie Benson. She comes to us with a background in management and customer service, as well as finance and funding.

Anne-Marie is also Parish Clerk for a few other Councils in Ryedale and Scarborough.

We welcome Anne-Marie, who has taken up the reigns from Victoria.
